2nd Feb 1812, Massena, Peninsula

In the early hours of 2nd February 1812, the French forces under Marechal Andrea Massena launched their attack into the Spanish Peninsula.

The 6th Infantry Corps and the 2nd Guard Corps lead the right flank. On the following day, these troops attacked Wellingtons forces in and around St Jean de Jun.

Meanwhile the 7th and 9th Infantry Corps attacked from their positions and on the 3rd engaged a British and Spanish force at Figuera.

Prince Eugene exceeding his original orders, has started operations against the Austrians in Northern Italy. Hopefully his chief of staff and close advisors can address his premature  actions.

Viva la France.
